Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, you are often the first contact with prospective customers.  The impression you make counts. You’ll also interact with our customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

You’ll also undertake a variety of clerical and administrative functions in support of the Project Consultants and other company functions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products and services.
  • Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
  • Responds to and resolves client inquiries and questions.
  • Ensures appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer problems and concerns.
  • Maintains customer records of interactions with details of inquiries, reported issues, or comments.
  • Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
  • Collects and enters orders for new or additional products and services.
  • Maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings, and appointments for managers, sales team, and Measure Technicians.
  • Keeps all marketing and promotional materials stocked.
  • Maintain the showroom areas in show-ready condition. Includes stocking paper products in the restroom, light dusting of displays, and keeping floors clear of all packages, debris, etc.
  • Works occasional Saturday hours at the Reception Desk to support the sales team.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable in various situations and when interacting with many different personalities.
  • Able to type minimum of 50 words per minute.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new and updated software.
  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.

Education & Experience:

  • High school Diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or a related field.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
