At Chapman Windows Doors & Siding, giving back to the communities we serve has always been a core part of who we are. We are especially grateful for the opportunity to support the brave men and women who have served our country. This year, we were proud to participate in the 102.9 WMGK Veterans Radiothon, an annual fundraising event that supports the Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC) in Philadelphia.
The Veterans Radiothon brings together local businesses, listeners, and community members to raise awareness and critical funding for veterans throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Through this event, funds raised directly support the VMC’s mission of providing housing assistance, employment services, wellness programs, and other essential resources that help veterans and their families build long-term stability and success.
Celebrating 20 Years of Impact
This year also marked a significant milestone for the Veterans Radiothon as it reached its 20th anniversary. For the past two decades, 102.9 WMGK has united the community in support of the Veterans Multi-Service Center, helping generate funding and awareness for the challenges many veterans face after their military service.
The generosity of the listeners, donors, and business partners helped to make this year’s event another success. The 2026 Veterans Radiothon officially raised over $143,500, surpassing the previous year by more than $20,000.
Chapman’s Contribution to the Veterans Radiothon
At Chapman, we were proud to contribute $3,000 to this year’s fundraising effort. We believe that the collective support of businesses and community members is what makes events like the Veterans Radiothon so impactful. We are grateful to be able to play a role in helping the VMC continue its vital work. As part of the event, Mike Chapman had the opportunity to join the broadcast to present Chapman’s donation. He was interviewed live on air by Paul Kelley. Together, they discussed why supporting our veterans is an important part of our company’s commitment to the community.
How You Can Make a Difference
As the Veterans Radiothon celebrates 20 years of impact, we’re proud to have played a small part in its continued success. However, the need for support doesn’t end when the Radiothon concludes. The VMC supports veterans year-round, and there are ongoing ways to help, from monthly giving to volunteering. We’re already looking forward to supporting next year’s event and continuing our commitment to those who have served
