Installer – Entry Level
Are you looking to join a company that truly cares about installing windows, doors and siding to the highest level of workmanship? As an entry-level installer, you’ll be assisting the Foreman and performing basic labor tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assists Foreman as assigned. This may include jobs such as demolition, carrying lumber, windows, doors, siding material, and light construction.
- Flashing tape pre-installation
- Simple break bending
- Builds scaffolding and uses ladders and equipment according to safety regulations.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and foreman.
- Ability to follow instructions, provide consistent work, and complete small tasks independently.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
Education & Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. (For company vehicle use when required.)
- Basic Carpentry knowledge:
- 45 degree miter saw cut
- Table saw rip
- Rough framing square cut
- Safe ladder platform setup
- Basic level caulking
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and working outside.
- Must have adequate balance and ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at times.
- Requires travel to job-sites within a predetermined radius in a company-provided vehicle.
