Procurement Coordinator

The Procurement Coordinator is a vital component, organizing and coordinating jobs in the planning process to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operations Manager with the organization, preparation, and scheduling of installation projects.
- Accurately maintain all software records and data entry with attention to detail.
- Audit material and product orders for accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure correct products and all required materials are ordered for each job.
- Assist the Measurement Technician when required. Follow up and verify the accuracy of all site measurements.
- Audit job measurements and ensure they are appropriate for the product needed and the jobsite assessed.
- Contact customers and verify color and product choices as needed.
- Work with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to build strong professional relationships and keep detailed records of contact information for each.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to locate materials and supplies required for each job.
- Coordinate and punch lists and outstanding job completion items with the Sales team, Service team, and Operations Manager as required.
- Collaborate with Foreman and Warehouse Manager to ensure all materials and tools needed for installation are readily available and pulled prior to the scheduled installation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent time management skills.
- Demonstrated strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of measurements and construction materials.
- Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team to accomplish objectives.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software as required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. (For company vehicle use when required.)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This includes climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping.
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
- Must be able to lift and move 15 pounds regularly.
- May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
